How has it been since you moved from Australia to the U.S.?
Well I moved in to Tony’s pad with him and Windsor so that has been pretty fun, there is always something going on there. Just been skating a heap, chillin’ and partying with the homies. Besides that just whooping Tony’s ass in boxing on the wii.

What are some things you like about the US and some things you don’t like compared to Australia?
Here you usually spend most of the day driving to spots that you usually get kicked out of. Back home a lot of spots are a bust but at least you don’t have to sit in a car in traffic for hours to get there. I guess that’s one of main things that suck. Other than that it’s chill here, besides all the bro’s and Barbie hoes.

Is it hard to get coverage in the US magazines living in Australia?
Yeah it’s pretty hard because we don’t have staff photographers that shoot for all the U.S magazines back home. Everyone I shoot with back home are usually the homies that have other ways of making a living so it kinda makes it harder sometimes to be productive.

What did you think of Circa before you fully got on the team?
Circa was the shit to me! Before I actually got on the team I was sponsored by Circa through a distribution company back home for about 3 years, so I have been repping it hard for a while! It kinda still trips me out how things turned out.

What part of skateboarding don’t you like these days?
Pretty much the only thing that really bothers me is being around skaters that spend most of their day finding shit to hate on. Skateboarding to me is something I love and I always will and I think that’s why most people skate but I think some people just get too into the industry side of things.

Are you close to your family?
Yeah I’m especially close to my brother Daz, I don’t think I’d be where I am today without him, he’s one of my main inspirations. My mum lives about a 3 hour flight away from where I live in Australia so I don’t get to see her all that often so that kinda bums me out but we are definately still really close, I try to visit her any chance I get.

Tony Tave : When we travel through the airports we usually tell the personnel we are a band. What is the name of our band?
The Torta Smashers!

Tony Tave : You have been a ghost the last year. Why?
Well that was because I wasn’t allowed to come back into the U.S because on a previous trip I overstayed by one day, so when I came back U.S customs sent me home and told me I couldn’t come back until I had a working visa. So for the past year I have been back home in Australia just waiting for my work visa to get sorted out. So finally I got it sorted but it was definately a stress that whole year wondering if I could come back or not. But now that I have made the move I’m pretty glad I got to spend the last year at home with my friends and family, it was a good year. Big thanks to Circa for getting my Visa!

Tony Tave : So if you’re an international playboy what’s your favorite country?
Haha! Well I must say the U.S treats me pretty good. The Aussie accent works wonders here!

Where are the women hotter? Australia? America?
There are beautiful women in both countries. There are a lot of wack girls in both counties too though… I’d say it’s pretty even.

Tony Tave : Why are there so many coins in Australia?
What are you talking about?? Why do you guys have one-cent coins here? Those things are pretty much useless!! Pretty much coins suck in general… wait this question sucks now that I think about it!
